Get to Know Wendy Ziegler

I have lived in the De Forest/Windsor area since 1991. I am married and have 2 children as well as 2 dogs and 3 cats. My husband Dave is the owner of Ziegler Plumbing in De Forest.

I have been a licensed Realtor since 2002. I don't think of myself as a "salesperson". My buyers don't "buy" houses from me, nor do my listings sell because I "sold" them to anyone. My job is to be the facilitator and customer service manager who puts two parties together and hopefully keeps them together through a complicated process. To me, that's not selling, that's service.

My goal is to educate my customers so they are able to make the right real estate decisions for their life. I help my customers through the entire process of buying or selling their home. I want to be sure they are comfortable with the decisions they have made and are making their dreams come true.

I have also been trained as an Accredited Staging Professional. When you get ready to place your home on the market it becomes a product for sale. Your home will be competing with all the other products on the market. To gain an edge in your marketplace you must be priced right and look better than the competition. Sometimes it's difficult to think of your home as a mere product, but it helps to think that way so that you can get top dollar for your property and sell it in a reasonable amount of time.
